She went seven innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out 12 and walking zero.Adams took the loss for Centura-Central Valley. Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity Clinches Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over Lexington Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Lexington on Thursday. The game was tied at one with Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity batting in the top of the fifth when Karington Sims singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. In the bottom of the fourth inning, Lexington tied things up at one when McKinna Moats doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. After Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity scored two runs in the top of the sixth, Lexington answered with two of their own. Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity scored when Abby Cervera doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Lexington then answered when Moats singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Daniela Sund grounded out, scoring one run. Kynlee Marquez earned the victory in the circle for Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity. She allowed six hits and three runs over six innings, striking out 11 and walking zero. Haussler took the loss for Lexington. She allowed eight hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out one. Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity collected eight hits. Cervera and Sims all collected multiple hits for Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity. Cervera went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity in hits. Southern Valley/Alma Saints Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Sims had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team. Moats led Lexington with two hits in three at bats.
