On Thursday, December 5th Alma faced Bertrand in Basketball. Junior Ehren Smolik scored 2 points. Senior Burke Boehler scored a 3, a layup, and shot 1 free throw with a total of 6 points. Junior Isaac McCurdy got a total of 2 points. Senior Vince Ongtangco scored a total of 5 points. They finished the first quarter with the score 15 to 9.
In the second quarter, Senior Nathan Hock scored 2 points. McCurdy scored 6 points. Ongtangco scored a total of 2 points in the second quarter. In the second quarter they scored 10 points total. At half time they were at 25 points.
In the 3rd quarter, Boehler shot 2 free throws and got a 2 for a total of 4 points. Hock scored 6 points this quarter. Sophomore Jason Stenka got 2 points. McCurdy shot one free throw then 5 points after that with a total of 6 points. At the end of the 3rd quarter they had 18 points. Alma had a total of 43 points at the end of the 3rd quarter.
In the 4th quarter, Boehler shot a 3 then 2 free throws with a total of 5 points. Hock shot 3 free throws and scored a total of 3 points for the team. They scored a total of 8 points in the last quarter. Which brings there score to a total of 51 points. The score was 51 to 44. Alma Boys blew the fans away with that amazing win.
