On January 16, the Cardinals took on the Hi-Line (Elwood and Eustis-Farnum) Bulls.
In the first quarter, the Cards had a total of 10 points, with Ehren Smolik, Burke Boehler, Nathan Hock, Isaac McCurdy, and Vince Ongtangco all had 2 points. The Bulls had 11 points in the first quarter, with Schmidt leading them in points having 7 himself.
In the second quarter, Alma took the lead scoring 29 points, Ongtangco leading the team with 10 points. The defense shut down the Bulls, limiting them to 8 points that quarter. The score at the end of the half was 19-39 Cardinals in the lead.
Third-quarter, the Bulls made a comeback scoring 21 points while Cardinals only had 11. Boehler leading alma with 3 points, and Fangmayer leading Hi-Line with 6.
In the final quarter, Cardinals scored a total of 12 points with Bulls right behind them scoring 11. Boehler had the most points all game with 16 of 62 and Schmidt led Bulls of 18 points of their total of 51.
