The Cardinal speech team traveled to Gothenburg for the 29th Gothenburg Invitational on Saturday, February 8th. The team took a hit, as some of the members were out sick. The remaining speakers worked hard to secure their spots. Novice speaker, Linden Biskup, earned a 3rd place medal for her humorous prose. Alongside Biskup, Lili Brown secured a superior rating novice poetry, Alexandria Moulton earned a superior rating in varsity poetry, and Haylee Wing achieved superior ratings in varsity poetry.
The team is headed to Minden on February 15th.
