Lady Cardinals Beat Those Broncos

The Lady Cardinals played the Lady Broncos Tuesday, January 14th. Starting off strong, Carlee Stuhmer made one 3-pointer and a field goal, scoring 5 points. Addison Neil making 2 field goals adding another 4 points to the scoreboard for the Cardinals. Abigail Fox joins in with the offense and scores a field goal. Abigail Cervera ending the quarter off with a 3-pointer and successfully making both of her free-throw shots. Abigail scores 5 points for the Lady Cards, making the final score of the 1st quarter 16-16.
Carlee Stuhmer comes back in the 2nd quarter scoring 2 field goals to start the Cardinals off. Madison Schuller helping the team out by making bother her free-throws. Adding two more points to the score, Nakyla Hock made a field goal. Freshman, Katy Prickett shot 2 field goals, making them both. Although our offense was hot, our defense tried their best to hold back the Broncos. The Lady Broncos were able to break free and score 14 points that quarter, ending the 2nd quarter with a final score of 28-30. Broncos with the lead. 
Coming back with a determined attitude to win, Abigail Cervera scored two 3-pointers and two field goals, making 10 points to start off the second half with. Addison Neal ready than ever made two field goals and successfully made both her free-throws. Addison scored a total of 6 points in the 3rd quarter. Adding points to the scoreboard, Carlee Stuhmer made a 3-pointer and a field goal. With our winning attitude, the Lady Cardinals scored a total of 21 points! Our defense was hot too, only allowing the Broncos to score 5 points. The 3rd quarter ended with a final score of 49-35. Cardinals with the lead. 
In the 4th quarter, Abigail Cervera finds the strength to make one more field goal. Madison Schuller comes back with a field goal and one free-throw. Carlee Stuhmer, giving it her all the win, scored a 3-pointer along with making both of her free throws. Finishing up for the Cardinals, Addison Neal determined to give it her all, shots a field goal, 3-pointer and makes one of two free-throws. Our defense kept the toughness and held the Lady Broncos at 10 points that quarter. The final score of the game was 65-45.
Offensive Highlight goes to Carlee Stuhmer for scoring a total of 19 points and Abigail Cervera with a total of 16 points.
