The Cardinals get the win against rival school Southern Valley in the annual wrestling dual. The dual started off at 113 with Tucker Brandyberry. Tucker got a pin collecting 6 team points making the team scores 6-0. Alma then collects 2 forfeits taking 12 more team points putting Alma up 18-0. When wrestling restarted at 138 with James Dubbs who had a quick takedown but was then pinned shortly after giving Southern Valley their first team points of the night. With the score at 18-6, Braydon Johnsen comes up to wrestle. After a slow first period of no offense, he gets pinned in the second bringing the score to 18-12. Two more forfeit one for each team puts the score at 24-18. The next weight is 170 and Alek Molzhan gets a quick pin in the first period giving the Cardinals a bigger lead of 30-18. An open weight class at 182 for Alma gave the Eagles a quick 6 points. The score is now at 30-24 the next two matches go in quick succession with two pins for the Cardinals Andy Graf and Jeremy Felix. The last forfeit of the night goes to the Eagles making the score 42-30. The final match of the night was Carter Brandyberry at 106 who pinned his opponent in the second period making the final score 48-30. Alma with this commanding win ended off their regular season duals with a win.
