Boys Basketball

The Alma boys basketball team played the Loomis Wolves on January 20, 2022. 

The boys had a pretty good start in the first quarter with Ryan Brugh making two 3-point shots. As well as JT Clapp and Peyton Herrick each making one 2-point shot. Ryan Kermmoade also made 1 of the 2 free throw shots. This left the score to be 27-11.  

In the second, the boys had trouble catching up with making only 7 shots this quarter. The points included Peyton Herrick, Ryan Brugh, and Mathew Mintzmyer each making one 2-point shot. As well as Mathew making 1 of the 2 free throw shots. The score was 51-18. 

In the third, the boys held Loomis to only 15 points. Jakin Neal made one 3-point shot. Mathew Mintzmyer and Ryan Kermmoade each made one 2-point shot. Ryan also made 1 of the 2 free throw shots with a score of 66-28.  

In the final quarter, Daniel Cook put himself on the scoreboard with a 3-point shot. As well as Jakin Neal making another three. Ryan Kermmoade made one 2-point shot and 1 out of the 2 free throw shots. The final score ended with 81-37.  The Cardinals fought hard but were unable to stop the three-point shooting of the Wolves.
