Girls BaSKETBALL

The Lady Cardinals played an amazing game against Arapahoe.  The first quarter had Carlee Stuhmer making a two-pointer, Addison Siebels making four points, Kaylee making two, Madison Wolfe making two, and Riley finishing the quarter off with an outstanding total of 10 points.  Riley's points came as two 3 pointers, one basket, and 2 for 2 from the free-throw line.  Alma put up an impressive 20 points in the first quarter to the Arapahoe 10.

The Cardinals kept the lead in the second quarter with Neal making a three-pointer, Baker making three points with a basket and 1 for 2 from the free-throw line, Scott making a three-pointer, and Siebels wrapping up the first half by making two free throws.  This left the score 31-21 at the half.

The girls pushed hard after halftime, with Stuhmer making one of her two free throws, Riley Scott making five points with a three-pointer and field goal, and Abbi Fox making four points with two field goals.   The score at the end of 3 is 41-33.

This hustle carried into the fourth and final quarter, with the cardinals in the lead.  Senior Carlee Stuhmer hustled through the last quarter with a total of five points with a three pointer and field goal, as well as Alexis Wolfe making a two-pointer, Siebels making four by two field goals, Neal making a field goal, Kaylee Baker making a field goal, and Riley Scott finishing the game off with an overall six points while shooting 4 for 4 from the line and making a field goal. This left the final score at 62-42, with the Cardinals taking home a win.
