The Golf team traveled to Cambridge for the first meet of the year. The five golfers for Alma were Grant McQuay, Ryan Brugh, Ryan Kermmoade, JT Clapp and Austin Schmidt. The team ended up Tied for 5th with Arapahoe. They shot a combined 403. The winning team was North Platte St. Pats. Individually Grant McQuay was second only two strokes behind Connor Haenauer from North Platte St Pats. Grant shot a 78 on the day. Ryan Brugh was 5 strokes from medaling and finished with a 99. Ryan Kermmoade was and other strokes behind Brugh with a 104. JT ended the meet with a 139 and Austin Schmidt with a 123. The golf team returns to action Tuesday at the Hi-Line Golf meet at Lakeside Country Club in Elwood on Johnson Lake. Full results are attached at the end.
