Our Senior Survey class continues their Adulting 101 series and have had several outstanding speakers over the last few weeks. Thanks to Jared Baker, Ashley Schmidt (pictured) and Jake Noonan from Community Bank helping them to get smart about credit. Other speakers have been: Rachel Newell- Identity Theft Protection, Mr. Davis- applying and interviewing for jobs, Jaclyn Daake- taxes, Christina Teager- workplace conflict resolution, and Nicole Kauk Bursovsky- mental health in college. We appreciate the community support in preparing our students for the real world! #ProudToBeACardinal

Alma Public Schools will be hosting Kindergarten Roundup on Wednesday, March 25. All children who will be five years of age by July 31, 2026 are eligible for kindergarten by Nebraska state law and are encouraged to attend Roundup.

There will be two sessions for children on Wednesday, March 25. The morning session will run from 9:00-11 :00 and the afternoon session from 1:00-3:00. Please call the school office at 928-2131 to register your child for one of these sessions if they do NOT attend the Little Cardinals Early Learning Center.

On that evening there will be an informational session for parents in the school library. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm and run approximately one hour. No childcare will be provided at the school during this time.

You will need to bring your child’s immunization record, including the dates of all immunizations, as well as a state certified birth certificate with your child to his/her Roundup session or to the parent meeting. This will be returned after being copied that day. All immunizations must be up-to-date for entrance into Kindergarten in the fall. #ProudToBeACardinal #ShareToBeAware

This week is Read Across America Week, and to have some fun, the elementary students are invited to dress up in some fun ways! Stuck inside with nowhere to go? Looking around to and fro? The scoreboard may say the season is over, but what this group accomplished goes far beyond wins and losses. This team competed, they battled, they pushed themselves in practice, and in every minute on the court. They represented our school with toughness, pride, and determination every single night. What stands out most isn’t just the big plays or games, it’s the growth. The leadership that developed. The unselfishness that built. The resilience shown when things didn’t go their way. To our seniors, thank you for setting the tone and leaving your mark on this program. To the underclassmen, the standard has been set. Keep building. A huge thank you to our coaching staff for investing countless hours into these young men, and to the families and fans who supported them all season long.
