There were some special guests tonight at the Christmas Concert! Many alumni came to join in the Carol of the Bells and surprise Mr. Ritter! It was beautiful! #ProudToBeACardinal

Alma Public School would like to thank the many individuals and organizations who helped make our 3rd Annual Cardinal Community Christmas Celebration such a success!
Thank you to those who volunteered their time and donated to make the day special: Waconda Boats for financially sponsoring the movie and concessions for our elementary students; Parrot Theatre and Tammy Wells for hosting us; and our amazing volunteers, HCHS staff, Miley Whitney, AJ Russell, Riley Scott, Nate Waggoner, and Melanie Fischer.
A special thank-you to Blake Biskup, who generously purchased all of the pop and candy for the high school event as well. This celebration truly reflects the many ways our staff and community members give back, often behind the scenes, to create meaningful experiences for our students.
We are incredibly grateful for our community supporters and volunteers who help make holiday magic possible! 🎄❤️

Dress Code and Conduct at Performances:
With concerts the next two evenings, we want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the expectations for how to dress and how to conduct oneself during performances. We would like to first remind everyone that student attire during concerts should follow the dress code policy in the student handbook, so please help your child(ren) find concert attire that meets these requirements. The length of dresses is especially important because the audience is looking up to the performers and short dresses become extra short when viewed from the vantage point of the audience.
As the audience, you are an important part of the concerts. The audience’s responsibility at concerts is to honor the efforts of the performers by providing a listening atmosphere in which all can appreciate their performance. To that end, we ask your cooperation with the following items:
• Make sure all cell phones and electronic devices are silenced and your flash is turned off for both photos and videos.
• There should be no talking or other noises during the performance.
• Children should stay seated with their parents throughout the entire concert. If it is necessary to go to the restroom or get a drink, exit through the rear doors between performances.
• If small children become restless and disrupt others' ability to listen, take them from the gym until they are quiet.
• Do not hum or clap along with the performers, unless specifically invited to do so.
• Show your appreciation for the performance by clapping after each selection.
Our students and staff have all worked very hard to prepare exceptional evenings of music for everyone to enjoy. The students will be modeling exceptional audience behavior during the concerts, so we ask for your support of their efforts. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in helping the concerts to be a wonderful experience for everyone!
