Saturday doesn’t stop us from having activities!! Today our HS Wrestling team is headed to Cambridge for their tournament starting at 10 AM. The HS Basketball teams will be at home against Red Cloud starting at 2 PM. There will only be 2 quarters of both girls and boys JV so we have made a change. "Tis' the season" for sickness and spreading germs. Please keep your child home if they are sick, to allow them time to recover and to reduce the spread of illness.
𝙿𝙰𝚁𝙴𝙽𝚃𝚂: If your child is sent home from school with a fever or develops a fever at home, they must be 𝙵𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁 𝙵𝚁𝙴𝙴 for 𝟸𝟺 𝙷𝙾𝚄𝚁𝚂 without the use of fever reducing medication before returning to class. The definition of a fever is 100 degrees or higher.
Some diagnosis of contagious disease requires 24 hours of antibiotic treatment before returning to school (strep, pink eye, etc.).
If your child is sick from school they cannot attend any school activities during or after school on that day, either.

Each year since 2006, the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools, based on their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity.
Since its inception, the program has grown at a steady pace with 2,838 students earning the award in 2006-2007 to 7,271 students honored during the 2021-2022 season. This 2022 fall season has garnered 2,708 more honorees, continuing the prestigious tradition in recognizing the efforts of high school students on and off of the playing field.
In all, approximately 93,700 students have earned the honor during the past 17 years.
