After four days without school it is sure to be a busy day at APS! The Golf team has their home invite starting at 10 AM. The JH Track team is headed to Franklin for their meet that starts at 1 PM as well. On top of all that, the FFA has their banquet tonight at 6:30 PM. More life skill presentations have included: budgeting, banking (with “Ms. Baker”), cheap eats, basic sewing, introduction to fishing, jumping your car and changing a tire. What great skills to learn! #ProudToBeACardinal

We are so proud of Mr. Ben Robison on earning the Honorary State Degree tonight at the State FFA Convention in Lincoln! During the 4th Quarter, students in Senior Survey are teaching life skills to one another! So far we have learned about changing windshield wiper blades, checking car fluids and tires, writing checks, how to appropriately tip, doing laundry, and how to tie a tie. On Tuesday, Cyrus Jordan was sworn in with the Army National Guard with a six-year contract. His job will be a signal support systems specialist, which requires him to fix anything that helps commanders stay informed and direct ground troop units and more. Congratulations Cyrus!
