Because medical costs can be expensive, APS does provide families the opportunity to purchase student accident insurance on their student through Student Assurance Services, Inc.
This supplemental policy would assist with your out-of-pocket medical expenses (i.e. deductible) should your student sustain an accidental injury while coverage is in effect. Also, if you do not have any insurance on your student, this would be primary for accidental injuries. There is a variety of coverage options and premiums are a one-time payment for the school year.

They made the most of an unexpected last day in D.C. They went to the American History Smithsonian, Natural History Smithsonian, and ate lunch at the Pentagon City Mall before heading to the airport again! Fingers crossed they can get on a flight this time! #ProudToBeACardinal
Today they went to the Spy Museum, Ford’s Theater to see where Abe Lincoln was killed, and the Smithsonian Museum. Then they headed to the airport where they were delayed for several hours before their flight was cancelled. They hope to get home tomorrow. #ProudToBeACardinal
The group spent the morning visiting the Capital and The Library of Congress. Then the students spent the night in Old Town Alexandria doing a historical scavenger hunt. #ProudToBeACardinal
We have many students on a trip and they are having a great time! They spent the morning at Arlington National Cemetery and witnessed the changing of the guards ceremony. Then headed to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum where they learned a piece of unforgettable history. Next they went to the White House and are ending the night at the Lincoln Memorial. #ProudToBeACardinal
