The 2nd grade classes hatched 14 baby chicks this week. The UNL Extension Educator, Elena Stout gave them a presentation on embryology. They then placed the eggs into the incubator and checked the temperature and humidity for 21 days. Finally, they got to watch the chicks begin to hatch. It has been a fun learning experience for the class. #ProudToBeACardinal
