FFA members, Alee Shicksnider and Josa Dunse helped with a lesson about popcorn. Alee read the story The Popcorn Dragon and the preschoolers used their 5 senses (sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste) as they made and ate air-popped popcorn. They practiced writing their names, counted corn kernels, and then created their own popcorn cob. #ProudToBeACardinal

Mrs. Christensen and Ms. Luke's classes had to put their thinking caps on. They had to use toothpicks and marshmallows to build a cage so they could keep turkeys in it. Here are some pictures of their finished cages. #ProudToBeACardinal

For the next half hour or so you can watch our participants at State Esports on http://Twitch.tv/nsesa. They will not be on the entire time as they will switch off and on, but get to Twitch! #ProudToBeACardinal

Good luck to our students who are participating at the State Esports Tournament this morning! If they will be streamed we will post a link as the information becomes available. #ProudToBeACardinal

The 5th and 6th Grade Math Challenge group completed a fundraising project. Each team had to come up with 3 food items to make and sell for their fundraiser, generate an ingredients list, find the cost, set a sale price, and find the potential profit.
Need any help with your next fundraiser ideas? These students would be a great resource! #ProudToBeACardinal
